Of course, our pricing varies according to the scope of the project, but our cost structure is straightforward and transparent. When it comes to putting together a quote for you, we have four main areas we consider.
Planning and Permissions
The groundwork for a successful shoot involves pre-production planning to ensure things run smoothly and within budget on the day. This is where our time for developing concepts, sourcing references, writing scripts and developing storyboards sits.
We will source the necessary paperwork and permissions to carry out your shoot. Drone usage requires airspace permissions which we arrange.
All time for Planning and Permissions is charged at an hourly rate of AU$100 + GST
Production/Shoot
Our production phase offers flexible rates which reflect the value of our expertise rather than an hourly charge:
Half-day - AU$850 + GST
Full-day - AU$1,450 + GST
These rates are for a single operator and include the use of our owned equipment such as cameras, lighting and audio gear. Additional gear or operators will be changed on top.
For smaller shoots, we offer a minimum shoot rate of AU$450 + GST. Please chat with us to see if your shot fits within this.
Post-Production
Shooting the job is often the easy part. The real magic comes in the post-production phase, where the final product starts to come together. This can include:
Video editing, audio syncing, colour grading and animation to bring your vision to life.
All time for Planning and Permissions is charged at an hourly rate of AU$100 + GST
Other Costs
Finally, there are some costs which are required to complete the project and we pass these on without markup.
These might include studio hire, props, voice-over talent, etc. We’ll make you aware of these once we’ve reviewed your brief.
